Meaningful Beginnings provides premium childcare services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers ages 0-5 years. We were founded in 2013 with our first daycare in the Richmond District, San Francisco. We are loved and trusted by parents who wrote nothing but satisfied 5 star reviews on Yelp. Meaningful Beginnings first opened its doors in 2013 and continues to grow across San Francisco. We take pride in providing high-quality care and education for children ages 0–6 years , specializing in infant/toddler care, preschool, and transitional kindergarten.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 24 ECE units , including an Infant/Toddler course , plus 16 General Education units
  • AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
  • California Child Development Teacher Permit (preferred)
  • Experience working with children ages 0–5 years
  • A strong passion for teaching and supporting children’s development
  • Creative approach to curriculum and classroom experiences
  • A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nurturing, attentive care to infants and toddlers, supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, sensory development, and learning through play.
  • Follow individual routines for feeding, diapering, and naps while documenting and communicating with parents.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and classroom areas.
  • Observe, document, and report developmental milestones, behaviors, and any concerns to management and parents.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and co-teachers.
  • Collaborate in a team-teaching environment and support assistant staff as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to all licensing, safety, and center policies and procedures.
