The Position:

As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking to bring on a Setup Technician to work at our Clinton, CT facility. Work schedule is 7am-3:30pm.

The Set Up Technician test fits and prepares exhibit materials and packs them back down after testing to ensure the onsite set up will go smoothly once the materials are sent to the meeting venue. Exhibit containers, existing components, signs and new components are brought to the test fitting area, and the set-up technician assembles the exhibit materials according to the provided plans. Exhibit materials are then reviewed, revised if needed, numbered, and packed down to their respective containers.

Responsibilities include:

 

· Review Set up plans and work orders
· Test fits the components as requested
· Repair and adjustment configuration as needed
· Label Pack down components
· Provide feedback and notes for drawings
· Report to Shop foremen
· Clean and organize test fitting areas

 

 

About You:

 

• You have a High school diploma or GED and some relevant work experience. 
  
• You have blueprint reading skills
• You're comfortable with ladders and heights
• You can work with hand tools 
• You're willing to work overtime during times of peak demand
• You're great at working on a team
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, responsible, and have an overall positive attitude that you bring to your role
