We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Developer (Pipelines & Analytics) to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Role: Design and deliver robust data ingestion, transformation, and serving solutions for real-time and batch analytics; raise the bar on quality, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Informatica or Spark/PySpark; orchestrate with AWS Glue or Azure ADF/Databricks.
Implement cleansing, enrichment, and modeling (dimensional/Data Vault); optimize partitioning, job performance, and cost.
Publish curated datasets/semantic layers for Power BI, Tableau, SSRS/SSAS; enable self-service analytics.
Automate data validation against CLIENT benchmarks (DQ checks, anomaly detection, SLAs/SLOs); add lineage/metadata.
Embed security & privacy: PII controls, masking/tokenization, encryption, RBAC; prepare audit evidence.
Create CI/CD for data (tests, quality gates), monitor with logs/metrics; triage incidents and drive RCA.
Partner with governance/platform teams; review code and mentor mid/junior engineers.
Requirements:
5–8 years building data platforms and pipelines in production.
Strong SQL, Python/Scala, Spark/PySpark or Informatica; orchestration via Glue/ADF/Airflow.
Experience integrating with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS/SSAS; delivering performant models/datasets.
Solid grasp of streaming vs. batch, incremental loads, SCDs, and data quality frameworks.
Working knowledge of security/compliance controls and audit expectations; clear communication with business & tech stakeholders.
