The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced free-standing Emergency Department with a 1:4 staffing ratio and a 24-bed capacity. The RN will also perform RT roles and pharmacy duties.

- Procedure sedation and RSI
- Obtain 12 lead EKG
- Tele Interpretation
- RN does RT role and pharmacy
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, home health, or hospice care setting

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Special Considerations:
- Must be separated from any Providence-affiliated facility for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel contract if previously employed there as permanent staff.
- The facility honors compact licenses.
- The Emergency Department is a free-standing facility with no RT or pharmacy on site.
- The patient population includes approximately 15% pediatric patients.
