Quality Assurance Engineering Intern (QA)

We are looking for a QA Engineer Intern for Paramount Streaming who is passionate about data and entertainment, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Approximately 40% of the Intern's work involves:

• Partner with QA Engineers to capture test requirements, execute test plans, and perform manual testing on a variety of new and existing applications on web, mobile, and OTT platforms to ensure that analytics implementations are correct and will yield complete and accurate data.

Approximately 30% of the Intern's work involves:

• Perform regression testing and audits/data integrity checks on a regular basis to have better control over the tags deployed across the sites.
• Perform QA and sign-off on new or updated implementations. Prioritize tickets and call out blockers.

Approximately 10% of the Intern's work involves:

• Document on how to perform QA on all tracking devices and expected output.

Approximately 10% of the Intern's work involves:

• Conduct QA cycles and data audits to identify tracking gaps/inconsistencies.
• Ensure test builds are delivered to team members and vendors needing to perform testing

Approximately 10% of the Intern's work involves:

• Utilize SQL to further investigate tracking anomalies.

Qualifications:

• Some knowledge of developing QA test plans and strategies, preferably for data/analytics
• Attention to detail paired with a passion for achieving the utmost data integrity for our tracking.
• Ability to keep and maintain accurate notes and documentation.
• Interest in learning about measurement tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Comscore, NPAW, Kantar Barb, GDPR).

• Basic SQL Knowledge.

Software Test Engineering Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in software testing, automation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for learning and problem-solving.

• 60% of the intern's work will involves: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and Jenkins, Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases and test plans, Collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues and ensure product quality.
• 20% of the work involves: Participate in team projects and contribute ideas and solutions, Take part in training sessions and workshops to develop relevant skills and Engage with the company’s culture and values, attend meetings and events.
• 20% of the work involves: Pair up with other interns to provide peer support, review each other’s work, and offer feedback.
• Engage in team-building activities or social events to build strong interpersonal relationships and improve team cohesion. Foster connections not only within the intern team but also with full-time employees and other departments to broaden professional networks.
• Candidate should have Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Good communication and teamwork abilities with Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Eligibility:

• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

Additional Information

The hourly rate for this position is $38.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
