This is a remote position.
My client is a multi-national manufacturer of vaping products with both a white-label business and also their own brand which is thriving in Europe and North America. They are looking to engage a Marketing Insights Product Manager at associate level on a freelance basis.
The overall task is to provide market analysis and insights on key central European markets in the DC area and beyond. Within this, day-to-day duties will involve:
- conducting visits and interviewing customers on their sites to get real views
- design & run surveys using online tools such as SurveyMonkey and Qualtrics + analyse results
- extracting data from online sources
- analyse trends in end-user flavour preferences
- summarise feedback and turn into meaningful data for the business development team
- advise the product development team on new products
- share market insights with customers
A strong marketing background in product-based environments is absolutely required, and any experience of the vape, tobacco replacement, or tobacco industries would also be a huge benefit.
The engagement preference is as an ongoing freelance contract. Employed contracts are available, but this will have an impact on the gross salary offered. For freelancers, the annual compensation is $70k to $85k according to experience.
