**Job Title: HOUSEKEEPER** **Job Description** As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring they are thoroughly disinfected and prepared for the next occupancy. Each room requires deep cleaning, and you will be responsible for making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly cleaning the entire room. Additionally, you will handle linens, placing them into heavy bags to be disposed of properly. **Responsibilities** + Perform deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms, including making the bed and flipping the mattress. + Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire rooms, ensuring high hygiene standards. + Handle and dispose of linens by placing them into heavy bags and managing them appropriately. **Essential Skills** + Strong physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and push 200 lbs. + Record of strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability. + Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team. + Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
