As part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will work within a dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), providing critical support to our global operations. **Discover Impactful Work:** Join us to play a key role in safeguarding our employees and assets worldwide. Apply your intelligence and analysis to drive Thermo Fisher's mission . **A Day in the Life:** + Use open-source intelligence and security tooling for potential threats against the company including terrorism, natural disasters, crime incidents, health-related incidents and more. + Assist in intelligence writing, review and publication. + Support video surveillance, access control, and external threat monitoring. + Handle security incidents promptly and accurately. + Triage and respond to security and technical support questions, emails, tickets, etc. + Support GSOC staffing initiatives, ensuring a continuous operation. + Responsible for the intake of security incidents and referring them to relevant teams or authorities. **Keys to Success:** + Proven expertise in research and analysis. + Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team. **Education** + Bachelor's Degree or former law enforcement/military experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. + High school diploma or equivalent required. **Experience** + At least 1 year in a GSOC environment (or law enforcement/military) highly preferred. + At least 1 year experience in intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related fields required. + Proficiency in open-source intelligence gathering highly preferred. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Tactical and strategic intelligence including an intimate knowledge of geopolitical and security risk and threat assessment. + Ability to convey information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. + Ability to critically think and decipher policies and procedures and analytical skills for providing insight into security situations. + Familiarity with security communication protocols and tools while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. + Handling highly confidential information. + Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office. **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** + Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. + Regular computer usage and manual dexterity for occasional lifting. + Prioritising multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining composure in urgent and pressure situations. **Benefits** We offer driven remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
