Job Description



AECOM  is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to be based in the Orlando, Florida office. 

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work under the supervision and direct responsible charge of senior-level Structural Engineers.
  • Perform engineering-related structural design using both hand and computer calculations.
  • Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.
  • Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

:

  • Relevant job experience, work, internship, or co-op is a plus.
  • EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain before the start date.
  • Experience or education in reinforced concrete design.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Massachusetts Design Center.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A highly motivated self-starter.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible, along with the ability to adapt to project deadlines.
  • Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment.
