Pharmacy/Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company is looking for a Durable Medical Equipment Specialist to conduct order processing, billing and collections. Candidate must be proficient with managing all aspects of the medical claims process, and be willing to lead by example. This will involve sharing duties of calling for eligibility and authorizations, re-submissions of denied claims, negotiating with insurance carriers, and the follow-up of non-paid and underpaid claims. In addition, this person will be expected to track Key Performance Indicators, create reporting and analytics, improve processes where needed and be responsible for maximizing the overall efficiency of the company’s accounts receivable collection efforts.
Must be:
Required: Minimum 3 years of Medical Billing and Collections Management experience!
Preferred: Workers’ Compensation collection experience (DME, pharmacy or in-clinic) and/or DME experience and/or Cortex Software experience.
