Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Flight Operations to lead and oversee flight operations for a commercial aviation client. This individual will be responsible for ensuring operational safety, regulatory compliance, and performance excellence across the airline's flight operations. The ideal candidate will have previous FAA 119 authority and extensive experience as a pilot and aviation leader.
This person will act as a liaison between the client and the FAA, manage departmental safety initiatives, and oversee technical documentation and flight standards. They will collaborate with internal departments such as Maintenance, Training, and Operations Control to implement new procedures, equipment, and performance strategies. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as this role involves supervising multiple teams, briefing executives, and working closely with labor relations. Travel is required, and the candidate must meet FAA qualifications for Part 121 operations.

Skills and Requirements
Required FAA 119 authority.
ATP-certified pilot with: 5-8 years of experience.
3 years as PIC under Part 135 or 121.Bachelor's degree.
Airline management or instructing experience.
