Job Description

Our Delivery Associates drive a van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community. You can plan on working about up to 4 days a week on a typical working day being 10 hours. Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road. You'll interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional, positive manner. You'll use handheld technology to manage the delivery process.

We're seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals, with a valid DL! No Delivery Experience needed, but we do require a minimum of 08-month driving experience, within the U.S. We're actively hiring for our two locations (33142 / 33182).

As a Delivery Associate at MER, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at the Amazon Warehouse.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
• Drive safely, following GPS-coordinated routes, following all traffic laws
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Report any issues or problems to management immediately

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll need:

• To be at least 21 years old
• To have a valid driver's license issued at least 18 months from application or longer
• To be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., and stand and drive for long hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• To have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
• To work at least ONE of the 2 weekend days , with a 10-hour availability each day, and holidays as needed
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
