Modality: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing(Itinerant) Location: Northwest Suburban Chicago Local Pay Rate: $55 Assignment Type: Leave of Absence Coverage Start Date: January 5, 2026 End Date: April 1, 2026 Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours/week (7 hours/day) Position Type: In-Person Only (Remote applicants will not be considered) Caseload: Approx. 20-30 students across 10-15 schools Age Group: Preschool through High School Travel: Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travelbetween schools during the workday. Mileage reimbursement provided. Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and passionate Teacher of theDeaf and Hard of Hearing to provide itinerant services to students rangingfrom preschool to high school across multiple school sites in northwestsuburban Chicago. This is a full-time, in-person leave replacement position.
