Meaningful Beginnings provides premium childcare services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers ages 0-5 years. Meaningful Beginnings first opened its doors in 2013 and continues to grow across San Francisco. We take pride in providing high-quality care and education for children ages 0–6 years , specializing in infant/toddler care, preschool, and transitional kindergarten.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 ECE units , including 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development .
• At least 1 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Passion for working with young children and creating a positive, supportive classroom community.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet children and families warmly each day and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support growth in language, motor, and social skills.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents about each child’s daily routines and progress.
• Support feeding, diapering, and nap routines following proper hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized learning environment by sanitizing toys and classroom materials regularly.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to develop lesson plans and create engaging learning experiences.
• Observe and document each child’s development, sharing insights with families and the teaching team.
• Participate in required training, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
