Job Description  

 

As our Small Engine Technician , you will play a critical role in supporting Landscapers Supply’s ability to serve our external service customers with high efficiency. 

Your role is to enable our customers to get their power equipment serviced as quickly as possible and to have a great experience doing so.  You offer expertise in identifying the issue with their equipment and coming up with an efficient and effective solution.

This role is an advanced position that requires excellent communication skills as well as technical skill.  

Responsibilities

• Servicing small engines for power equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service from intake to release of equipment.
• Ability to listen and assess equipment to determine a repair plan.
• Communicate with the manager as well as other mechanics to make sure they have all the information needed to complete tasks for repairs and service of equipment.
• Shop appearance
• Security and loss prevention

Desired Qualifications 

• Organizational and record-keeping skills
• Able to work and communicate with a team.
• Ability to multitask, especially during our busy season.
• Knowledge of power equipment and ability to work on small engines

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs.
