We are hiring for a Senior Web Engineer to lead the development of secure, scalable web applications and enterprise integrations. This role is focused on delivering high-impact solutions using modern web frameworks and cloud technologies.
Core Technologies
Frontend: React and VueJS
Backend: ASP.NET Core Web API, Java (Spring Framework)
Database: Microsoft SQL Server
Cloud: Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
Build modular, responsive web applications using React and/or VueJS, aligned
with accessibility and UX best practices
Design and implement secure, scalable APIs using ASP.NET Core and Java with Spring Framework, leveraging Dependency Injection and Entity Framework Core
Integrate with enterprise systems via:
Message queues (e.g., IBM MQ)
Oracle RPC
SOAP and RESTful APIs with robust error handling and idempotency
Implement authentication, authorization, and secure configuration aligned
with Security+ principles and agency policy
Optimize database access and performance using SQL Server and EF Core
Add observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing) and support incident response with clear runbooks
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and contribute to release planning and documentation
Must-Have Qualifications
Proficiency in React, VueJS, ASP.NET Core, Java with Spring Framework,
and SQL Server
Experience with enterprise integrations (message queues, Oracle RPC, SOAP, REST)
CompTIA Security+ (CE) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Eligibility for Secret clearance (typically requires U.S. citizenship)
Strong Git workflows, CI/CD, testing practices, and cross-functional collaboration
Nice-to-Have
Experience with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)
Familiarity with z/OS Connect
Experience with telemetry, performance tuning, and incident response
