Senior Executive, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
As a Senior Executive in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), you will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer, playing a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various departments. You will collaborate with business units to manage risks effectively, execute risk management initiatives, and ensure business continuity through well-planned and timely actions.
· Collaborate with departments and operating units to identify potential risks, offering timely recommendations and support to effectively manage those risks.
· Monitor and follow up on outstanding risk management matters, including semi-annual re- assessment submissions, implementation of action plans, and matters concerns raised during risk reviews.
· Execute the assigned Risk Management Initiatives covering Financial, Operational, and Technology Risks. This includes conducting Risk Assessments, Risk Monitoring, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), among other tasks, ensuring thorough and timely completion of all assignments.
· Develop and prepare materials for briefing and training sessions to enhance awareness and understanding of enterprise risk management across the organization.
· Support the Chief Risk Officer in maintaining strong and effective working relationships with regulators, external auditors, senior management, and other key stakeholders.
· Experience or knowledge in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is a plus.
· A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting/ Business Administration/ Finance / Internal Audit or other relevant discipline
· Professional qualifications related to Accounting, Risk Management, Internal Control, IT (i.e. CISA, ISACA) will be added advantage.
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Risk Management or Internal Audit, preferably in Insurance industry.
· Proven ability identifying issues/defects and recommending solutions.
· Intermediate level skills working with the MS Office suite of tools and Microsoft excel.
· Strong problem solving, communication, writing and business presentation skills.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Strong team player with good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
