Veterinary Receptionist – Full Time

Honeoye Falls Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly, energetic, and compassionate individual to join our front desk team as a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist . We are a busy, three-doctor small animal practice that prides itself on providing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary care in a supportive and empathetic environment. Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, the receptionist plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional experience. You’ll be the welcoming face and voice of our hospital, ensuring clients feel valued and supported from the moment they arrive or call.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet clients and patients, check them in for appointments, and assist with the check-out process.
• Answer incoming calls; handle inquiries, take detailed messages, and process requests for prescription or food refills.
• Monitor and respond to emails, texts, and other communication platforms used by the hospital.
• Assist veterinarians and support staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on multitasking and detail.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a veterinary or medical office setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working around animals of all sizes and temperaments.
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems.
