Summary

We are currently seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position focuses on supporting the growth and development of children ages 2.5 to 5 years old in a play-based, child-centered learning environment.

Duties

Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons
  • Foster social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through daily routines and intentional play
  • Supervise children at all times and maintain appropriate teacher-child ratios
  • Communicate positively and professionally with families and coworkers
  • Support children in developing independence, self-regulation, and problem-solving skills
  • Follow licensing and center policies regarding health, safety, and supervision

Requirements

Ability to lift 40 lbs and participate in active play
Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

Experience working with preschool-age children in a licensed childcare setting
CDA, Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred (or willingness to work toward credentials)

Benefits

Eligibility for Full-Time Employees (35 hours or more per week):
  • Vacation, retirement plan, childcare discount, and service bonuses after one year of service.
  • Paid holidays after 30 days of employment.
  • Personal days and quarterly days after 90 days of employment.
