About the Role:
As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be the friendly first and last impression for our patients. You’ll help guide them through their visit, manage scheduling and communication, and ensure our clinic runs smoothly. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role where teamwork, empathy, and initiative are highly valued.

Spanish-speaking skills are a huge plus — many of our patients are bilingual, and we love to serve them in their preferred language.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome and assist patients in person and over the phone
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow between providers
• Verify insurance benefits and process billing details
• Support patients with forms, authorizations, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and opticians to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-driven workplace

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and people skills — empathetic, clear, and professional
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Comfortable with computers, scheduling systems, and learning new software
• Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred, but not required — we will train the right candidate
• Spanish language fluency is a big advantage

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (no late evenings, weekends, or major holidays)

We are a medical optometry clinic in a small town that otherwise would not have access to specialty eye care. We cover all primary eyecare needs: we manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration; we offer both normal and specialty contact lenses including scleral fits and Ortho-Keratology; manage dry eye with the latest Lipiflow technology; comprehensive and vision exams; additionally we showcase the newest fashions in eyewear.
