Our customers include residential homeowners and industry professionals like plumbers, building contractors, insurance adjusters, apartment managers, drain cleaners, restoration specialists, HOA’s, and municipalities. American Leak Detection is looking for a highly motivated, independent worker to join our team as a Pool Repair Technician. Great candidates will be mechanically inclined, comfortable with learning and using new technology, and also be ready to work outside in all weather conditions. This position requires intermittent, often heavy, physical labor. We provide paid training, all the tools needed to perform your job duties, and also a company vehicle for business use. Duties include: * Leak detection:

• Swimming pools
• Spas

* Plumbing related repairs for:

• Suction lines
• Return lines
• Jet lines
• Skimmer lines
• Light concrete work

* Advanced training includes:

• Scuba certification
• Mastering underground line tracking, video, ultrasonic, and infrared technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to move/lift up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to swim
• Experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently
• Neat, professional appearance
• Must be able to meet physical labor requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with leak detection or pool plumbing system, pumps, pop-up cleaning systems
• Mechanical/electronics background
