Honey Homes is a new membership service for homeowners that proactively addresses the everyday to-do’s, ongoing maintenance, and unexpected repairs that come with homeownership. Members are paired with a dedicated handyperson and a simple app to coordinate. We’re on a mission to make home upkeep effortless, replacing hassle and stress with the joy that comes from comfortable living.

About the role

As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative at Honey Homes, you’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners, introducing them to a smarter, stress-free way to care for their homes. Your role will focus on door-to-door conversations , engaging directly with potential members to spark interest in our subscription home maintenance service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, can build trust quickly, and likes being out in the field . You’ll get to walk through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the Bay Area, knock on doors , and share how Honey Homes can eliminate the hassle of home maintenance. We provide the training, tools, and support—you bring the enthusiasm, resilience, and a knack for connecting with homeowners.

Your primary goal is to set a home’s first appointment, called a walk-thru (which is free to the homeowner). Our in-home sales specialists will close the deal at the walk-thru, and you’ll get paid on deals closed.

Qualifications

  • You have experience in door-to-door sales. You have 1 or more years of high performance in a door-to-door sales role, and you’re excited to build your existing skills in a new, dynamic environment.

  • You’re a relationship builder with exceptional people skills. You’re energized by connecting with new people, you find it easy to start conversations, and you build trust easily.

  • You’re a persuasive and confident communicator. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you’re capable of pitching Honey Homes and handling objections.

  • You’re comfortable working outside and on-foot. You’re excited for a field-based role that requires walking through beautiful neighborhoods across the Bay Area.

  • You’re self-motivated and relentless. There are up days and down days, up minutes and down minutes. You rally yourself from the downs to conquer greater heights.

  • You have a growth mindset. You can follow a process, but you’re always willing to find and listen to ideas to improve it. You’re unafraid of ambiguity and thrive in startup environments. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you.

  • You’re passionate about our mission of eliminating the stress of homeownership. You’re excited to the face of our service and help introduce homeowners to a better way to care for their homes.

Role Type

  • This is a 3-month contract-to-hire role with the potential to convert into a full time position based on performance during the contract period and business need.

Compensation

  • We expect you'll make between $4,500 and $8,500 per month depending on how well your perform.

  • Mileage reimbursement offered

Note: This is a field role based in the Bay Area. You must have have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license and be willing to drive throughout the entire Bay Area.
