Position Summary

A Construction Scheduler is essential for maintaining the daily success of construction projects. Their focus is on organizing, coordinating, and managing the construction schedule to ensure that everyday demands are consistently met. By closely monitoring project needs while balancing the right resources, the scheduler helps keep projects on track, ultimately supporting both short-term needs and long-term project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules that account for day-to-day targets, plant supply, project and phase numbers are accurate.
  • Coordinate daily with project managers, site supervisors, and transportation to confirm requirements and address immediate concerns
  • Monitor ongoing progress and swiftly resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays keeping daily operations uninterrupted
  • Communicate any changes in daily schedules to all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is prepared and informed
  • Leverage Droptime & B2Win Track software to track and manage daily workflows, resource availability, and progress updates
  • Prepare regular reports detailing daily status, resource usage, and overall scheduling efficiency
  • Assist with crew planning and material deliveries, guaranteeing that everyday operational needs are met without disruption
  • Collaborate with the logistics department on daily, weekly and monthly trucking needs, this will include day and night operations.
  • Main point of contact for equipment moves within the construction department, the scheduler will organize the requests and send it to transportation.
