Cranmore is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Freestyle Seasonal Program Team. In this position, you will work with the same group of kids each weekend and through vacation periods, sharing your passion for skiing, building freestyle skills, and exploring all the mountain has to offer. You will be the head coach of the Cranmore Freestyle program; this group is centered around learning new skills and maintaining a relationship between Safety, Fun, and Learning. The ideal individual will be available during program hours (8:30 AM-1:30 PM) on Saturdays and Sundays, and during holiday and vacation periods, including Christmas Day, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, and February Vacation week. This can be a Full time or Part time Snowsports instructor position. Program Dates: December 27, 2025 through March 26, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in a children's program is preferred.
- PSIA Level 1/FS 1 credentials are a plus but not required.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate and communicate proper Freestyle ski techniques & skills.
- Must provide a safe and fun environment for a student that facilitates learning and a memorable experience.
- Teach the techniques of skiing, according to guidelines established by resort and PSIA, in a group setting and based on customer skill level.
- Must be adaptable and willing to learn, grow, and improve.
- Maintain a high level of enthusiasm and cheerful, professional attitude
