**Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to join our dynamic team within a large distribution center. We have openings on both day and overnight shifts, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse processes. 3RD. SHIFT: from 9:30pm to 6am. Overtime is available with supervisor approval. **Responsibilities** + Operate material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas. + Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery. + Verify the quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers. + Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products. + Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, notifying management of inventory issues. + Return misplaced products to proper storage areas. + Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies. + Perform inventory control functions as needed. + Refer complex, unusual problems to a supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Minimum one year of cherry picker experience for day shift candidates. + Minimum one year of reach truck or order picker experience for overnight candidates. + Proficiency in RF scanning, order picking, and packing. + Experience operating various forklifts including cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. + Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. + Capability to make repetitive movements, such as bending or squatting. + 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees, offering plenty of overtime opportunities and a low-pressure work environment. The environment is typically comfortable but may expose you to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. There are six openings for the overnight shift from 9:30pm to 6am. Overtime is available with supervisor approval. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
