KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Bookkeeper, you’ll ensure our day-to-day accounting runs smoothly so we can focus on creating great member experiences:

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and check runs.
  • Record member charges, dues, and payments accurately.

Payroll Support:

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll through ADP.
  • Work with Department Heads and ensure accuracy of staff hours along with sick and vacation requests.

Daily & Monthly Accounting Tasks:

  • Record daily deposits and reconcile bank activity.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and assist with month-end close.

Member Billing:

  • Generate monthly member statements.
  • Assist with account updates, adjustments, and billing questions.

Financial Support:

  • Prepare basic reports (A/R aging, expense tracking).
  • Assist Controller/CEO with month end financials for Committee and Board.
  • Assist Controller/CEO with financial documentation and audit prep.

Petty Cash & Club Expenses:

  • Maintain petty cash log and receipts.
  • Track expenses to ensure budget alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems (ADP, QuickBooks, ClubEssential, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Collaborative spirit and willingness to support the broader Club team.

RATE OF PAY: $30 – $37.50 / hour (DOE).
