This is a remote position.
Orienta is partnering with an education organization to find outstanding AP Tutors who specialize in supporting high school students preparing for Advanced Placement exams. This is a flexible, remote, part-time opportunity to make a direct impact on students' academic performance and university readiness.
Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions to help students prepare for AP exams (Math, Sciences, History, English, or others you specialize in).
Teach core concepts, problem-solving methods, and test-taking strategies to build student confidence.
Create customized study plans, practice tests, homework assignments, and ongoing feedback.
Track progress and adjust lesson plans based on student needs.
Communicate with the internal team regarding scheduling and updates.
Requirements
At least 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience — ideal if focused on AP curriculum or high school students.
Strong academic background in the AP subject(s) you teach.
Familiarity with AP College Board exam formats (multiple-choice, free response).
Excellent communication skills and an ability to simplify complex concepts clearly.
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own calendar.
Nice to Have
Experience in AP test prep for multiple subjects (e.g., AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP English, AP U.S. History).
Previous success helping students raise scores or pass AP exams.
Bilingual (English + Spanish) — not required, but a plus.
