Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role combines administrative support with marketing and events ensuring smooth operations in all areas. If you are detail-oriented enjoy creative projects and thrive in a dynamic environment wed love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with marketing and event planning to delight current families and drive new business.
  • Manage and maintain files with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Assist with family tours and guide prospective families through the enrollment process.
  • Create social media posts and decorate the school to reflect holidays/seasons.
  • Complete other projects and duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a variety of administrative duties.
  • Comfortable working on the computer and learning new apps.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to talk to parents and members of the public.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility required.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous administrative or marketing experience
  • State Compliance: Must meet state specific guidelines for the role including immunizations required health and safety training CPR/ First Aid Certification and fingerprint clearance through the DOJ.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting.
    • Model and encourage good social skills e.g. strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Exhibit high levels of composure patience and professionalism at all times.
    • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and classrooms.
    • Physical Resilience:
      • Demonstrates full range of motion to:
        • Stand and walk for extended periods of time without significant discomfort.
        • Ability to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
        • Reach stretch with hands and arms.
        • Climb or balance.
        • Stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
        • Use of a stool or ladder to reach high places as necessary.
    • Ability to supervise by sight and sound.

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
