Upon arrival at IWAI jetty in Punnamada, Alleppey town, our tour representative will take you to RV Vaikundam. Check-in on RV Vaikundam. On the cruise, you will pass through the serene and green network of rivers, lakes, lagoons, canals, and coastal estuaries. A cruise through expanses of lush green paddy fields, swaying coconut trees, banana plantations, and the laid-back rural life is soothing and enthralling.
On your way, you will see paddy fields, coconut trees swaying in the breeze, banana plantations, and rural life. it will be an enchanting and soothing experience.
Enjoy the traditional lunch and relax on board, immersing yourself in the vibe of Nature.
Stop by the village Kanjippadom to visit a boat-building yard and learn about the traditional method of building wooden boats (Kettuvallam). Overnight, stay onboard.

Start your day with breakfast onboard, then take a stroll through Karumadi, a quaint village. The small shrine, preserving an ancient ruin of a sculpture of Buddha, speaks of the legacy of Buddhist philosophy underlying the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. In the Sangam era, Buddhism dominated Kerala, influencing the local Dravidian culture to a certain extent, and it gradually declined when Hinduism grew in prominence.
Afterward, Get back on the boat and cruise to the coastal village, Thottappally. You will pass the spillway that prevents flooding of low-lying paddy fields during monsoon and controls seawater inflow. As we cruise, we learn about indigenous practices such as paddy cultivation, fishing, and duck farming. At Thottappally, take a walk along the beach.
Head back to the boat in the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight stay onboard.
